HISTORY

MedDirect was founded in 2000 as a subsidiary of ES Financial Corporation (ESF) which was created in 1961 to efficiently service small loans in the resort and hospitality sector.

MedDirect today is a completely independent corporation chartered in the State of Michigan. It initially tested the healthcare market, exploring the potential demand for consumer lending and servicing opportunities in the physician's space within the healthcare sector. MedDirect confirmed the existence of a significant demand for elective medical financing from both doctors and patients and quickly developed a provider base of over 700 participating physicians, dentists, and orthopedics throughout the upper Midwest.

MedDirect no longer offers consumer financing in any form. However, it offers an even wider array of affordable payment options and services for consumers of physician and dental services.

In addition to enjoying a strong growth curve, the company's evolution has paralleled the convergence of the healthcare and financial services sectors. MedDirect is positioned at the center of this convergence with leadership and managers that have a deep understanding and expertise in both healthcare and financial services. Leveraging the experience gained in its formative period, MedDirect has a clear vision for its product portfolio, operational structure, and market approach. MedDirect is currently headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
