Our People & Culture

Things that matter to us

MedDirect's culture is 10+ years in the making. Compound that number by hundreds of people who've contributed over the years and you get a special mix. Consistent throughout, however, has been our commitment to the following:

Performance

Performance is required for leadership. We want to be leaders, so we are committed to performing at the highest level possible. Performance isn't a choice, it's a requirement. Everybody at MedDirect is expected to perform at his or her best. Our own high performance--however we measure it--enriches our lives as employees, delights our customers and creates real value.

Change
Part of being in a growing company is that change is a constant. For some people, especially those who come from bigger companies, change can be disconcerting. We are ever evolving. To stay ahead of our competition, we constantly refine.   While our processes, literature and model can all be copied, our people, culture, and service cannot.  We believe that as long as we continue to embrace change as an important part of our culture, MedDirect will remain the leading company in our space.

Relationships
We work hard to create and maintain relationships with with not only ourselves, but also with our  physicians, patients, administrators, executives.  Strong relationships are part of our MedDirect culture. The ability to amplify our talents through networks of people and clients around the country depends on the quality of our relationships.

Growth & Learning
It's important for us to constantly challenge and stretch ourselves and not get stuck in a job where we feel stagnant.  Inside every employee is a wealth of untapped potential and one of our goals as a company is to unlock that potential.

Design Thinking
Design is a way of looking at our world and seeing how it works--or doesn't work  It's a method for getting a job done and solving problems.  Design and subsequent refinements of MedDirect's Patient-Pay Solutions is no different.  It required exhaustive research, deep thought and careful listening to our providers and patients.  Design thinking is a process for the practical, creative resolution of problems that looks for an improved future result.  It is the essential ability to combine empathy, creativity and rationality to meet user needs and drive success.  Unlike analytical thinking, design thinking is a creative process based around the "building up" of ideas.  During this process we strive to eliminate the fear of failure among MedDirect participants.  We believe this encourages maximum input and participation in the ideation phases.
